Sonetto is in Pyrgos, a coastal village roughly 18 km east of Limassol, built where the land meets the sea. The village has its own sandy beach, Aoratoi, and the Agios Raphael marina — one of the better-organised marinas on the island — making it a genuine seafront community rather than a commuter suburb. Pyrgos also carries real history, including a medieval watermill dating back to Cistercian monks.
