Lucea sits in the quieter, inland stretch of Pyrgos, away from the marina and beachfront. The village rises from around 85 m near the coast to over 480 m in its northern reaches, and this higher, garden-set part keeps a slower, more residential character. It's the same village as Sonetto, seen from its calmer side.
